Blings, jewelries prohibited in Sharjah, UAE

It's bye-bye to bling-blings for male residents and visitors in Sharjah as the government takes an old law into effect once more. Sharjah's 'decency law' - specifically the prohibition for men to wear jewelries, silently resurged and a lot of youngster were caught shocked and unguarded. Gulf News reports that most young men were 'invited' to the nearest Police Stations because of the said case. Those 'arrested' were not doing something indecent, not even acting nor pretending like ladies. They were literally just wearing 'for-men' necklaces and bracelets.

Parents (of the arrested) also expressed shock and disagreement with the implementation as it was not broadcasted or properly dissiminated to the public before they take effect. The CID did some of the arrests happened in Sharjah Mega Mall and Al Qasba which are both known as places mostly or family activities.
